Support Studio Information

Support Studio was founded in 2021 and is currently delivering mental health and disability services throughout the Greater Melbourne (VIC), Geelong and Northern Rivers (NSW) areas. At Support Studio, we are passionate about supporting people with multiple and complex needs. This includes people living with a dual diagnosis, those involved with multiple service systems such as mental health, justice, child protection, and homelessness, as well as people at high risk of harm or living with challenging behaviours. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centred. Which means we aim to understand the people we support and their difficult experiences, work with them to build on their skills, and to always ensure that decisions are made together. We utilise a holistic model that is task-focused and goal orientated, taking into consideration a person’s physical, emotional, and social needs. Together we help to identify the things people want to achieve, working collaboratively to turn their goals into outcomes. This might include helping people to be more involved in their community, working towards their education or employment goals, improving their health and wellbeing, building their independent living skills, or simply doing more of the activities they enjoy.
