Nova Era Bakery Information

Established in 1991, Nova Era Bakery was one of the early bakeries in Toronto to offer European-style coffee, bread and pastries to the growing Portuguese community. Throughout the last 20 years we have maintained the traditional methods of daily handmade, freshly baked breads; our artisan pastry chefs handcraft original, creative custom cakes for all occasions and our pastries vary from the famed Portuguese pastel de nata to a simple chocolate doughnut. Founded on the traditional approach to quality food and services, Nova Era Bakery has expanded their menu to include a variety of freshly made sandwiches, salads and soups. Over the years, our family owned and operated business has grown from one shop to ten. Our goal is to help continue see the tastes and traditions of Portuguese and European pastries, breads and coffees shared locally and globally.
