Lavar is a Los Angeles based BMX streetwear brand. Ever since its conception in 2005 I have been responsible for developing the brand strategy and creating all of the aesthetics from the logo to product graphics, photography and more. Lavar was awarded an Ispo Brand New Award in 2007 for one of the most stylish upstart brands. In a very creative and visual industry Lavar stands out through the natural blending of its BMX heritage, its acute fashion sense and communication methods. Either through regular advertising or alternative means we always push the boundaries of what a brand is and does, making Lavar very much punk in an intelligent way.
