Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is a global leader in conservation, working across iconic Australian locations like the Kimberley, Central Australia, Cape York and Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre.
Our mission: The effective conservation of all Australian wildlife and habitats.
All of AWC’s actions are underpinned by science, designed to protect and restore Australia’s unique wildlife. Our sanctuaries and partnership areas protect some of the largest remaining populations of iconic threatened species, including the Numbat and Gouldian Finch as well as lesser-known species such as the Nabarlek (a tiny rock-wallaby), Red Goshawk and Greater Glider.
AWC recognises that we must work together to create change. Across the country, AWC is privileged to work in partnerships with First Nations communities and Traditional Owners, along with pastoralists, governments, universities, private landholders and other not-for-profits to powerfully extend the reach of conservation.

BirdLife Australia is Australia’s largest bird conservation organisation and is dedicated to stopping bird extinctions.
With our specialised knowledge and the support of a nationwide network of volunteers and supporters, we combine the best of conservation practice and rigorous scientific data and research to protect Australia’s birds and their habitats. We work locally, nationally and globally to drive the recovery of threatened bird populations, restore nature and prevent bird extinctions.
When we protect birds, we’re protecting nature too – which we all depend on. To save birds is to save life.
Our bold new Bird Conservation Strategy is the blueprint to saving Australia’s birds. Now, our mission is guided by strong, ambitious targets – to stop the extinction of birds by 2030, improve the status of 30% of threatened birds by 2030 and halt overall bird population declines by 2050.
Bat Conservation International’s (BCI) mission is to conserve the world’s bats and their ecosystems to ensure a healthy planet. BCI is devoted to conservation, education, and research initiatives involving bats and the ecosystems they serve.
BCI’s conservation efforts have resulted in permanent protection for a majority of North America's most important remaining bat caves, saved millions of bats from being accidentally buried during mine safety closures, and led to the establishment of the first national park in U.S. history to protect a tropical rain forest. BCI has sponsored research documenting the key roles of bats in major ecosystems, supported training for graduate students in 55 countries, and trained hundreds of wildlife managers from more than 20 countries in bat management and conflict avoidance techniques.
