The World Series of Entrepreneurship (WSE) is a competition series open to every high school student throughout the country. Either through entrepreneurial programming already in place or by accessing our free curriculum, students combine hard work with passion to give their ideas life. Students advance from local competitions to regional competitions to the national championship in June, vying for venture funding and college scholarship dollars along the way. Although the mainstage is reserved for the top 12 students in each region, every student is included and has the opportunity to pitch their venture, connect with investors, receive mentorship and even access internships. In a world where 46% of jobs for adults under 30 years of age are in the form of an independent contractor role, entrepreneurial skills aren’t just for folks looking to start a venture. Whether a company founder or a leader working in another organization, we are preparing students with the mindset, skills, and competencies to add value (entrepreneurship!) and excel in the world they are entering. As a non-profit organization with the mission of extending the power of Youth Entrepreneurship Education to every student, we not only make the curriculum available online and at no cost, but we never charge an application or participation fee to students. Every Student, Anywhere.
