Warrior Connect Information

Life in the military can be challenging enough in times of peace, but in times of war the impact is exponential. Long periods of separation from loved ones, multiple deployments, culture shock, the intensity of serving in combat areas, coping with injury and trauma — all these conditions and many more can profoundly affect a military service member’s personal and professional lives. Even the strongest can experience adverse effects, many times without knowing the cause. And those effects are not limited to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines. They impact partners and parents, children and siblings, and anyone who cares deeply for the one who is suffering. Warrior Connect will initially serve the Central Texas area Veterans and their families in connecting with each other after returning home from war through a variety of programs.
