We launched the Twin Cities Agenda with a simple goal: To offer you, the citizens that make this the greatest metro on earth, something new. Stories you haven’t yet heard, news that shapes your today and tomorrow, and everything else in the world clarified through a local lens. Instead of bringing you just another news site, with more clickbait and clutter; an amalgamation everything that already exists in your digital mind, we wanted to build something better. Something that you would be excited about coming back to again, and again, and again. Our goal is not to cover solely where the Twin Cities has been, or stands today. What we’d really like to capture is where the Twin Cities is going, through its people and places, through its dining and culture, through science and technology, topics and trends, business, education, media and everything else that continually shapes our world. In short, this is for you. And you’ll find it all here. What you can expect from us: We publish about 25 stories per week on our site, and send a weekly epic/thoughtful recap of everything happening around the cities — good, bad, and ugly (but mostly good) in our weekly newsletter. We also report directly on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, so don’t forget to follow. What we think: We think that the do-the-opposite approach works and we try to live by it. We think fun is really important, and we think we’re really good at having fun. We think working with people you like (even love) is the best way to go. We think writing about topics that you are passionate about inspires intellectual growth. We think being agile and free improves the quality of the product. We think procrastination is the worst of the worst… but that it happens.
