The Danceworx Information

The Danceworx was setup in 1998 by Mr. Ashley Lobo. The company comprises of The Danceworx academy and Navdhara India dance theatre, one of India's first international contemporary dance touring companies. The curriculum consists of styles such as Street Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Modern and Social dance. The Aim: To develop the student's creative potential to the highest possible level. The purpose: To create and spread an awareness of dance and to facilitate and help in developing thinking artists. The philosophy: "Helping people find and build themselves in an environment of fun, love and values." The Principle: Vision, struggle, prize! The Belief: To create thinkers not clone.
