The Ballet Class was founded in 1978 by former Balanchine ballerina, Lynne Stetson. Lynne's mission was to bring quality ballet training in a nurturing environment to Westchester County. In 2007, after working alongside Lynne for twenty years, Celeste Morningstar took the reins of the school with the goal of continuing the mission that Lynne started.
