CUI ACQUIRES THE ASSETS OF TECTROL, INC. On March 5th, 2015, CUI acquired the assets of Canadian power supply company Tectrol, Inc. CUI continues to operate the Toronto, Canada design and manufacturing facility and will utilize CUI’s resources to maximize effectiveness of this new business unit. Already a leader in the digital power space, the acquisition adds a portfolio of high-density, high-efficiency ac & dc power supplies ranging from 600 W to 12,000 W along with modified-standard and custom capabilities to CUI's Power group. The acquisition also significantly boosts CUI's power design and manufacturing resources with the addition of Tectrol's advanced 74,000 sq. ft. Canada engineering and production facility.
