Startup coffee company in STL. Roasting remarkable coffee while building stronger communities through empathy and empowerment. At Switch we are passionate about empowering people. Whether it is a cafe owner struggling to make the switch from second wave to third wave, a coffee farmer struggling to feed his family, or a neighbor trying to find his place in the world, we exist to educate and empower people. Our mission is written into the DNA of our business model. We work with marginalized members of society seeking to find dignity in employment and switch the trajectory of their lives. We believe that remarkable coffee can come from the places and people you would least expect it. When you are enjoying a cup of Switch Coffee you are part of empowering people. When you taste and smell the subtleties of our small batch roasts we encourage you to also think for a moment about what it would be like to walk a mile in another person’s shoes, and to appreciate the subtleties of his or her talents, culture, and contributions to society. Our team is made up of three guys representing the City of St. Louis, St. Louis county, and the other side of the river in Illinois. We believe that the call to serve and build our community is a regional effort, and we are excited to do our part.
