Stride Ahead, Inc. is a 503(c) nonprofit located at Little Creek Horse Farm in DeKalb County, Georgia. It assists people through personal, physical or emotional challenges utilizing horses. Programs include: therapeutic horseback riding (PATH), Veteran's Programs and Equine Assisted Therapy (EAP). We use horses in proven methods that provide transformative experiences in personal, social, educational, and physical development. Equine assisted personal development has captured the attention of therapists, corporate development experts, and even insurance companies, who recognize the remarkable effectiveness of using horses in personal development. The volunteers and staff of Stride Ahead, Inc. are driven by the knowledge that humans benefit in remarkable and unexpected ways from horses. Little Creek Farm is the place where this transformation occurs.
