We founded Spanner because our clients needed better, more efficient, more repeatable processes for design and production. It’s a need that was, and is, systemic of a knowledge gap in our industry. A gap between brand and agency and printer. Spanner is the confluence of production, design, operations, and technology, empowering all sides of the industry to do great work together. We’re a team of ever-curious experts with decades of experience across every aspect of design and production. Some of us have designed campaign creative for household brands. Others have managed operations at industrial production facilities. And a select few of us have done it all, guiding clients through every step of the production process. We have a wealth of knowledge and part of our culture is to share it. When we say share, we don’t mean trade secrets, we mean best practices. With our clients, our colleagues, anyone in the industry committed to honing their process. Our purpose is to share and preserve the institutional knowledge that we’ve cultivated over the course of our careers. Although we’re committed to sharing our knowledge with the industry, we’re just as committed to safeguarding the confidential information of our clients. It’s the only way to work with corporations on classified products from start to finish. So in a way, creating Spanner has allowed us, as individuals, to come together to reach new heights — working closer with brands on products, from design to production. But above all else, it’s about demystifying this exceedingly complex industry. Because the only way to perform better, to become more efficient, to allow for creativity without limits, is through knowledge and collaboration. We believe that by sharing our knowledge with the industry, we all benefit. Because we all work better together and do better quality work.
