Sony Pictures Animation produces a variety of animated entertainment for audiences around the world. The studio's most recent theatrical release is "GOAT," an original animated sports comedy from producer Stephen Curry's Unanimous Media. The studio is currently in production on the 2027 release "Spider-Man™: Beyond the Spider-Verse," the highly-anticipated conclusion to the Spider-Verse trilogy, which includes 2023’s Academy Award nominated “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” and 2018's Academy Award®-winning "Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse.” “Buds,” an original animated comedy, is also slated for theatrical release in 2027.
