Shanti Generation Information

Shanti Generation creates inclusive mindful yoga content in close connection with youth students and their educators. We aim to educate children, teens, parents and teachers in mind-body connections such that they are able to positively impact the social and emotional systems they are engaged in. Through conscious breathing, mindful movement, visualization, relaxation and the practices of stillness, we guide participants through the noise of daily life to the well of health and empowerment available to each of us. Our students report significant, life-affirming changes in the way they think and they see the world. After two decades of field work and self distribution, we are actively seeking a partner to support and carry forward the digital aspects of Shanti Generation as we maintain focus on live, direct-service to schools across Los Angeles Unified School District and beyond. Currently, a portion of our content in streaming on Kanopy and Amazon Prime, as well as recent Cover19 related releases on YouTube. A yet to be released body of work designed specifically for classrooms, including homeschooling, is out of post and ready for first time release. We have extensive archives of vetted, field tested and educator approved curricula to accompany our high production quality digital content.
