Our Mission We cultivate the boundless potential of highly gifted children, nurture their passions and talents, and develop a diverse community of creative and constructive lifelong learners. About Us Motivated by a deep love and concern for highly gifted children, Dr. and Mrs. Norman J. Mirman began the school with nine pioneering students in their West Los Angeles home. Today, with a newly expanded campus spanning 6 acres and including regulation-sized athletic fields and vibrant community spaces, Mirman School is a thriving and diverse community home to 330 students in grades K-8. Mirman continues to distinguish itself as one of the few schools in the country devoted to the education of highly gifted children, particularly serving all dimensions of childhood — academic, artistic, kinesthetic, and more. Statement of Inclusivity We are committed to building a connected community that embraces multiple perspectives and cultural competency to strengthen gifted education and growth in the whole child. At Mirman, we strive to integrate inclusivity in our curriculum, school culture, and institutional identity.
