Ruth's Table Information

Ruth's Table is an art center and gallery committed to increasing access to creative opportunities for older adults and adults with disabilities. Founded in 2009, Ruth's Table offers a dynamic combination of rotating gallery exhibitions, creative programming, and community initiatives. We believe that creative engagement is essential and should be accessible to all. Named after renowned artist, educator, and activist Ruth Asawa, RT has been using the power of creativity to build a more inclusive and connected community. RT engages 1,300 participants per year through our community-based art dedication programs, with an emphasis on accessible and inclusive programs that support the diverse needs and abilities of our participants. RT Gallery offers an engaging program of 5-6 annual exhibitions that strive to promote visibility and positive images of older adults and adults with disabilities in our community and recognize their value and contribution to the arts and society. With intergenerational connections at the core of our mission, Ruth's Table offers a dynamic combination of rotating gallery exhibitions, creative programming, and community initiatives.
