Human connection means everything, especially in the AI world.
Yet, time after time, sellers, marketers, and recruiters spend too much time calling the wrong people. They may get hundreds of phone numbers from a “trusted” database. But without additional, costly verification tools, you’re never guaranteed a direct line of contact.
That changes today with RocketReach’s partnership with Trestle, a market leader in enterprise identity verification solutions.
What We Shipped
Through this partnership, 100% of RocketReach’s 190+ million phone numbers will be verified by Trestle’s enterprise identity data APIs. This is in addition to RocketReach’s in-house verification tools.
Trestle processes more than 500 million queries monthly, delivering low-latency, real-time identity intelligence. As an organization that values data accuracy over inflated coverage, Trestle is recognized for their 99% accuracy across phone validation.
In fact, research conducted by RocketReach found that contacts with Trestle-verified phone numbers are twice as likely to result in successful connections compared to contacts that have not been verified yet.
Every Phone Number, Verified
While traditional phone validation tools offer high-level information – like a phone’s country code, line type category, “valid” or “invalid” status – few enrich phone data with actionable activity scores and quality grading.
Our partnership with Trestle allows us to go the extra mile so you can evaluate verified phone numbers the same way you do with RocketReach emails. This includes new in-product and API enhancements backed by Trestle’s industry-leading verification tools:
- Reach the right lead, every time, with phone confidence grades that match existing email grades
- Make the right call by distinguishing line types for mobile, direct dial, office phones, and other numbers
- Conduct smarter research with enhanced search filters for phone line type and minimum phone grade
- Get more out of RocketReach with expanded API support for phone grades, line types, and user contact methods
Graded, Filtered, & Proven
Whenever you initiate a RocketReach lookup, you will see Trestle-verified numbers alongside a dedicated letter grade – similar to what’s available today for email:
- A grade (Best): Confirmed, valid phone numbers with strong identity match signals
- A- grade (Likely): Confirmed, valid phone numbers that do not have confirmed identities
- B grade (Possible): Phone numbers worth trying, especially if better options are not available
Invalid, or F grade, numbers are automatically removed, ensuring you receive quality over quantity with every lookup. You can also apply a ‘minimum phone grade’ filter to searches so you can prioritize leads with high phone confidence scores.
For more refined searches, you can view and filter results by line type. Clearly distinguish numbers by mobile, direct dial, office, or other phone types, or filter search results based on the line type you prefer to use. Phone grades and line types are both available in RocketReach dashboards, extensions, APIs, and MCP.
Regardless of how you do your search, you can rest assured you’re receiving the best phone numbers available. There are 73% more verified contacts on RocketReach thanks to our partnership with Trestle.
Verified Phone Numbers at No Extra Charge
Unlike competitors that charge extra for phone verification, RocketReach is committed to delivering verified sales and contact intelligence from day one. New and existing phone numbers in RocketReach will automatically be verified by Trestle at no additional cost.
This added layer of verification gives Pro, Ultimate, and Custom RocketReach users immediate access to vetted phone numbers, line types, and confidence grades directly from their accounts. No extra fees, accounts, or contracts required.
What’s Next
