PUBLIC is a design-oriented, direct-to-consumer city bicycle and gear company based in San Francisco. The company designs its own bikes and offers an array of accessories to make riding more enjoyable, practical and chic. PUBLIC bikes can be purchased online and from PUBLIC retail stores and dealers. PUBLIC can ship a bike to your door “Ready to Ride” anywhere in the continental USA. Our vision is that more of our urban streets and sidewalks get reclaimed for walking and biking, and that our public spaces are developed for better human interaction and conversation. The quality and usage of our public spaces is the measure of the success of our democracy. This is why we call ourselves PUBLIC.
