Athlete Connections is dedicated to assisting current and former student-athletes in the transition from athletics to the workforce. As a company comprised of many former student-athletes, we identify with the challenges many athletes face in launching the next phases of their careers. Due to the dedication required to maintain high university standards on and off the playing field, student-athletes are often left with a career preparation void. Our collaborative work with universities and employers serves to advocate, expand and improve career opportunities for young men and women and to increase public and policy-maker awareness of their needs. Athlete Connections is dedicated to helping athletes develop the skills necessary to transition into their post athletic careers and find employment opportunities. By continually adding new companies to Athletic Connections' network and through Athletic Community Career Events, the list of potential jobs and connections that athletes have at their finger tips are endless.

Beverly Delich established Silver Lining Management in 1989. Her experience in the entertainment industry spans over twenty years. Her expertise encompasses talent management, consulting, showcases and producing and organizing special events. Beverly possesses an inherent ability to bring out the best in individuals' skills and help them to reach their potential. By combining her talent and expertise with honest and open communication, she is able to develop and maintain strong relations with, and for, her clients. She has established an excellent reputation with leaders and organizers in a variety of artistic areas and musical disciplines throughout Canada and the US. For twelve consecutive years she organized and booked entertainment during the Fair at the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE), one of the largest fairs of its kind in North America. The various programs under her jurisdiction represented a multitude of talent from an extensive talent pool including ethnic and cultural, country, jazz, pop, variety, classical, instrumental, dance and more. Beverly was also instrumental in launching three talent contests that became three of the most successful and well-attended programs during the seventeen-day FairThe Kids Talent Search for ages 6 - 12, The Youth Talent Search for ages 13 - 21 and The Extra Years of Zest Talent Contest for ages 55 and over. Beverly selected high profile judges from a variety of musical professions, and early in the year requests would pour in asking to be a part of the contests that soared in popularity and sustained a status of significance. Her good friend, the late Impresario Hugh Pickett so enjoyed the contests that he requested to judge at all threewhich spanned all seventeen days of the Fair. The Youth Talent Search was the most extensive of the three. Part of the winning package included the opportunity to travel with Beverly to Memphis Tennessee in the early fall following the fair to compete in the International Youth Talent Search and of course to tour Elvis' homeland, ...
