A beginning dancer can expect to start out in soft shoes and once the first few dances have been mastered, hard shoe dances are then added to the repertoire of dances. A dancer will also begin working on specialized class choreographed pieces in preparation for our Recital. Performances are optional for students in the school, but are strongly encouraged, as this gives the young dancer a goal to work towards. We are always in demand for performances at local senior citizens' homes, community events, and Irish Club of Regina functions including Mosaic, Regina's annual multicultural festival. Our dance year runs concurrent to the school year; beginning in September and finishing at the beginning of June. Our school's major year end event is our Annual Recital. Our Annual Recital is held in May and is a wonderful, exclusive opportunity for our dancers to show off the results of their hard work throughout the year. Class Levels
