PartnerSPEAK Information

PartnerSPEAK provides specialist peer support for adults connected to people who have perpetrated, are alleged, or are under investigation for child sexual abuse or child sexuual exploitation material (CSEM offences. We support non-offending partners, ex-partners, family members, friends, colleagues, housemates, community members and others impacted by another person’s offending. We do not support offenders, and we are not a direct victim-survivor support service. Our work recognises that people connected to an offender can experience profound shock, grief, shame, fear, isolation, family breakdown, housing and financial stress, parenting concerns, community judgement and complex system involvement. Many are left trying to make sense of what has happened while also navigating police, child protection, courts, schools, workplaces and family systems. PartnerSPEAK offers calm, non-judgemental peer support grounded in lived experience, connection, choice and practical next steps. Support is available through our moderated anonymous online forum, Peerline, email and webchat, peer gatherings, and where available, court, police station and post-warrant support. We also provide secondary consultation and specialist training for professionals who are supporting people impacted by another person’s child sexual abuse or exploitation material offending.
