OBXtek is a relationship-driven information technology and diversified professional services company. Founded in 2009 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, OBXtek now employs over 300 people on more than 15 contracts at job sites around the globe. Our teams are committed to identifying, developing, and delivering innovative solutions to our civilian and military partners. OBXtek pairs lessons learned across disciplines with industry standard quality practices such as CMMI-DEV Level III, CMMI-SVC Level III, ITIL, 6Sigma, PMI, and ISO. We maintain prime contracts with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Department of State, Department of Agriculture, General Services Administration, National Guard, Department of Transportation, Department of Justice, and Defense Language Institute. OBXtek has three Centers of Excellence: 1) digital modernization which covers cybersecurity; enterprise IT service management; IT engineering; software, cloud, and mobility; 2) mission support services; and 3) acquisition and program management. In 2024, OBXtek was a HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipient by the US Department of Labor. OBXtek was recognized as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified company by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. In 2023, OBXtek was recognized as the 4th largest veteran-owned company and 12th largest cybersecurity company in the Greater D.C. area by the Washington Business Journal.
