Ngat Information

The National Guard Association of Texas (NGAT) is a nonprofit 501(c)(19) professional organization incorporated in 1959 on the principle that it is important to have an organization speak out for the Texas National Guard and its members. Today, NGAT has over 35,000 current, former, and retired Texas Military Forces members. NGAT’s mission is to provide the best services and benefits to promote, safeguard, and advance the interests of our members, communities, and partnerships. NGAT is the only professional organization that solely supports and advocates for the betterment of the Texas National Guard and its members at the state and national level to maximize benefits and resources for Texas National Guard members and their families. NGAT is tied and partnered at the national level with the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS), the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS), and the National Guard Executive Directors Association (NGEDA).
