Next Chapter prepares justice-impacted people to build, ship, and lead in the AI-native economy. Through the Augmented Builders Program, participants use AI-assisted software engineering workflows to turn ideas into working products, automate real problems, explain technical decisions, and create visible portfolio proof. The program combines technical coaching, product thinking, career development, Demo Day preparation, and partner-connected opportunities. AI is changing the entry point into technical work. Next Chapter is building the pathway for people with lived experience, proximity, judgment, and problem-solving ability to become creators of the tools and workflows shaping the next economy. We partner with funders, employers, technologists, and community leaders to fund cohorts, sponsor projects, mentor builders, open career pathways, and create rooms where demonstrated capability leads to paid opportunity.
