The Office of Justice Programs is a federal agency that provides federal leadership, grants, training, technical assistance and other resources to improve the nation’s capacity to prevent and reduce crime, assist victims and enhance the rule of law by strengthening the criminal and juvenile justice systems. Our six program offices support state and local crime-fighting efforts, fund thousands of victim service programs, help communities manage sex offenders, address the needs of youth in the system and children in danger, and provide vital research and data. We are a diverse workforce comprised of talented employees representing a wide array of professional disciplines. Our talent pool includes accountants, attorneys, grant/project managers, IT specialists, policy advisors, public affairs specialists, researchers, scientists, statisticians, writer/editors, and more. We recently completed a comprehensive workspace modernization initiative that has transformed the way we work. Check out our Life page and learn more about our culture and our new workspace.
