NeverBore LLC education consulting is committed to promoting high-engagement teaching strategies in secondary schools nationwide. Founder and CEO Martha Rush is a high school teacher with 20+ years experience in the classroom, and she is also the author of Beat Boredom: Engaging Tuned-Out Teenagers (Stenhouse, 2017). NeverBore develops and provides hands-on teacher workshops and carefully crafted lessons that empower teachers to implement active-learning strategies across high school disciplines. In our workshops, we show teachers how they can harness the power of storytelling, discussion/debate, problem-based learning, simulation, competition and authentic tasks to improve student understanding and critical thinking. Our lessons incorporate the same six active-learning strategies, and we can help you develop subject-specific lessons that meet your curriculum needs.
