Musical Kite String Information

Musical Kite String is a family business conducting private piano and singing lessons, aiming to inspire creativity, individual expression and musicianship through the love of music. Lessons are designed to cater for all ages and abilities and are tailored to individual students learning style and capability. Whether its modern, contemporary, jazz or blues, students are supported to learn to sing with vocal freedom to build strong foundation, diaphragm and breathe support techniques and sing with good vocal health and ease. Piano lessons are structured to assist students in learning through fun theory games and best practice methods as well as coaching in AMEB Vocal and Piano Examination and audition processes. Lessons are 30 minutes or one hour in duration depending on the students needs. In our fast paced, digital age switching off and making some time for yourself can be a challenge. I invite you to come and unwind, destress and reconnect in one of our group or book your own private sound meditation, Sound meditation and healing is a gentle guided meditation bringing you back to your breathe and creating a sacred space for you to recharge and nuture your soul. Sarah Morrison, Director of Musical Kite String defines music as learning a new language built on tones, timbre, patterns, rhythms and dynamics all of which makes the exploration exciting. The benefits of music education are self-confidence, self-expression, increased brain function whilst encouraging learning in a fun and creative environment.
