We at The Music Academy for the Performing are dedicated to our goal of instilling in each student a love of music and the independence to pursue it for a lifetime, either as a career or as an avocation. We ensure that each child achieves musical literacy and understanding through creativity, music, musical experiences, time-management, and problem solving skills. Music lessons require a three-way agreement between the student, the parent, and the teacher. A strong commitment of time and effort is required on the part of all three. Fulfilling this commitment is not always easy, for any of us, but the rewards in terms of musical growth and, most importantly, enjoyment, are well worth it.
