AAU – KNOWLEDGE FOR THE WORLD AAU’s education and research are problem- and project-based, with a strong focus on interdisciplinarity. Through collaboration between researchers, students, and public and private companies, we offer practice-oriented programmes and produce world-class research results. This is how we gain new insights, find new solutions to society’s challenges, and create knowledge that changes the world.

Health for all – that is our mission in the Danish Health Authority We are the top health authority in Denmark, and our task is to promote public health and establish a good framework for health services in Denmark. We give advice to the Danish Ministry of Health, municipalities and regions and we offer recommendations, guidelines and action plans. Our main tasks include promotion of public health, prevention and treatment of diseases - as well as tasks regarding radiation protection, elderly care and dementia. Our ambitions are high - and we engage with others to find wise solutions.

Rigshospitalet is Denmark’s most highly specialised hospital, providing treatment for people in Denmark, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland. We stand for an open and inclusive hospital with focus on patient needs. Also we focus on being an efficient workplace promoting wellbeing for our approximately 12.000 employees. Through our skilful employees we are among the best in Europe; professionally and for training and research. On 1 January 2015 Rigshospitalet merged with Glostrup Hospital, making it the largest hospital in Denmark.
