VISION We support our 10-year-old founder's vision of a world where all 18 million enslaved children in the world today are free and safe. MISSION Our mission is to build a brand that becomes most scalable and sustainable "engine of change" the anti-slavery movement has ever seen. STORY Make a Stand didn't start as a product. It started as a promise—in the heart of a little girl who wanted to make a difference. One year ago, then eight year-old Vivienne Harr saw a photo of two boys, roughly her age, with big rocks strapped to their heads. She learned that they were modern-day slaves. She thought slavery ended with Abraham Lincoln. She was wrong. She decided to do something about it. She set up a local lemonade stand every day, rain or shine, to make a stand against child slavery. The world watched, in a series of photos chronicling every day of Vivienne's historic stand. After 173 straight days, at the age of 8, she reached her goal and donated over $100,000 for Not for Sale; this child liberating many enslaved children. With lemonade. That moment made a movement—and made a company.
