MADLaT is a voluntary, non-profit association made up of individuals and corporate members interested in distributed learning and training in Manitoba. Individuals include members from: - K to S4 educational institutions, - post-secondary educational institutions - private trainers, - multimedia providers and - information technology providers and corporations. Our aims are to: - Facilitate information exchange and build linkages - Initiate and support professional development in distributed education - Promote research into distributed learning practice and theory - Solicit government and agency support for distributed learning - Promote greater public awareness of distributed education - Provide mechanisms for the identification and resolution of evolving issues
