LSA is a diversified environmental, transportation, and community planning firm that evolved from a small consulting firm. The firm was designed to meet the need for environmental evaluation as a result of the passage of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Since LSA's founding in 1976, LSA has grown into a full-service consulting firm that continues to grow in terms of markets it serves and services it provides. LSA is 100 percent owned by our employees. Each employee owner has a personal as well as professional stake in the success of each project. LSA realizes that clients do not hire companies; they hire people. LSA's people are a diverse group of highly skilled professionals, many of whom are recognized experts in the following fields: Air Quality/Climate Change; Biological Resources; Land Use Planning and Resource Management; Cultural Resources; Paleontological Resources; Environmental Analysis; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Noise; Transportation/Mobility; and Water Quality. LSA has 9 California offices located in Carlsbad, Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Point Richmond, Riverside, Roseville, and San Luis Obispo. LSA has served a variety of private industry and public agency clients, many of whom have been clients for 40 years.
