Kokam began as a company focused in manufacturing polymer processing equipment, including polyester film and polarized film manufacturing systems, and breathable (porous) film casting systems. In the late 90’s, Kokam expanded its business to designing and manufacturing Lithium-ion/Polymer secondary batteries and succeeded in developing the world’s first high capacity Lithium Polymer batteries. Since then, Kokam’s state-of-the-art battery solutions have been widely utilized across the world and recognized for its superior characteristics.
