Data no longer stays in one place. Protection must travel with it. Klarytee Data-Centric Security Platform As-a-Service discovers and classifies sensitive fragments – key fields, values, clauses, identifiers, record elements – and encrypts only those requiring protection, each with its own granular access policy. Protection works on two separate layers. In the data itself, sensitive fragments never appear in plaintext, whether stored, copied or shared. In an overlay, separate from the data, authorised people, systems and AI agents access only permitted fragments, decrypted temporarily, in memory, for that use alone, and never written back. Least-privilege, need-to-know access is enforced across third- and fourth-party supply chains, AI and agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, and AI inputs and outputs. Continuous monitoring logs every access decision per fragment – who, what, when – for a defensible audit trail. Klarytee Ltd is a British data security company founded in 2021. Its core technology was built on approximately 15 years of its co-founders' R&D work for UK defence and national security agencies, and is protected by two granted patents (UK and US). The technology was first commercialised in 2024 through the Klarytee Word Add-in for content encryption, which enabled users to protect selected parts of documents and retain control after sharing. In January 2026, Klarytee launched its Data-Centric Security Platform As-a-Service, evolving the underlying fragment-level protection technology from a Microsoft Word-based product into an API/SDK-first platform that applies persistent data protection and policy enforcement across applications, workflows, supply chains and AI environments.
