KLABU Information

Hi, we’re KLABU 👋🏼 We build community-led sports clubs in refugee camps because we believe everyone should have a place to play. Our clubhouses provide sports equipment, activities, live matches, music and Wi-Fi, creating safe and welcoming places where people can play, connect and find joy, pride and belonging. From the start, we work with people from refugee and host communities to lead the clubs themselves. It’s their KLABU. KLABU means ‘club’ in Swahili. We built our first clubhouse in Kalobeyei, Kenya, and today you can find KLABU clubs around the world. More than 50,000 people have already played, met and connected through KLABU, but we’re nowhere near done. Our dream is that everyone living in a refugee camp has a place to play. Join the KLABU.
