Kindred Image Information

Kindred Image exists to end child abandonment in South Korea and create a culture of life around the world. We seek to serve mothers and children with holistic solutions to the complicated issues surrounding abortion and abandonment in unsafe places. Our model spans from story-based awareness to crisis care and long term counseling in South Korea. We were formed through the creation of our award winning documentary film, The Drop Box, which was released in over 800 theaters in North America and reached almost 300,000 people over a one week period. The Drop Box highlights the story Pastor Lee Jong-rak who operates the "baby box," a heated and padded hatch installed on the side of his home designed to rescue children from abandonment. Since its creation, over 600 children have been saved through the box.
