It all started in Kumla, Sweden, where our founder Ragnar Karlsson began making shoes with a simple belief in quality and craftsmanship. Our headquarters remain here today, not far from where the Kavat story began. Eight decades later, the idea is still remarkably relevant. Make good shoes. Made to be worn and cared for. We believe that quality is one of the foundations of responsible consumption. A well made pair of shoes should not become irrelevant after one season. It should age with character, carry memories and, whenever possible, be passed on. Leather continues to play an important role in what we do.
