Two Swedish brothers started Ridestore. Sum up the journey so far in one word, and it would be change. That part is deliberate. We make snow gear and sell it ourselves, under two brands: Dope Snow and Montec. No wholesale, no middlemen, nobody in between deciding what our customers get to see. That's less a distribution model than a listening one. Almost everything we make is co-created, with our customers and with riders who put the gear through more in one season than most people manage in ten. What comes back from them goes into the next product. We're self-funded, where cash is fuel, not the destination, so we build for the next decade instead of the next funding round. But we still don't set long-term goals. What we have instead is a Playbook and people who know how to use it. Small teams. Async by default. Best idea wins regardless of who it came from. And the power to say no, which is the one most companies leave out. The Playbook isn't finished and never will be. Neither are we. We work from wherever we're useful. Performance and execution count, location, and hours don't. If remote isn't your thing, there's an HQ in Gothenburg. This way of working fits some people brilliantly and genuinely doesn't fit others. We'd rather say so up front. Want to dig deeper?
