Karma Kitchen provides fully fitted commercial kitchens to rent across six inner-London locations. Private production units run from 170 sq ft development kitchens through to bespoke central production units of several thousand square feet. Equipment, extraction, waste, business rates, and on-site management are included in a single monthly rent, with no fit-out cost and no dilapidations liability at lease end. Most partners are producing within two weeks of signing. Shake Shack, Popeyes, McDonald's, Din Tai Fung, Pasta Evangelists, Kricket and Gather & Gather produce here, alongside independent operators and manufacturers supplying retail. Sites in Bermondsey, Hackney, Crystal Palace, London Fields, Wimbledon and Wood Green. Every kitchen is all-electric, with on-site biodigesters and used cooking oil recovered as biofuel. Waste and carbon data is measured per tenant and available for your own reporting. Founded in 2018 by sisters Eccie and Gini Newton, who had built the catering company Karma Cans to over a thousand meals a day and couldn't find the kitchen they needed.
