Julia Macalpine Dance Studio Information

JMDS is a highly professional and respected dance studio, and above all, is a place where children love to dance. Welcome to Julia Macalpine Dance Studio - a well established dance studio with a 30 year history. Julia Macalpine - Principal - leads a team of committed, experienced staff in a fun yet professional environment. Our pupils are prepared for R.A.D. and I.ST.D. exams, as well as having the opportunity to perform on stage in our famously spectacular performance and competitive events. Many of our former pupils have gone on to successful careers in the performing arts. At JMDS we balance high standards with a friendly atmosphere which both pupils and parents enjoy. We hope to inspire and develop self-confidence, creativity and a passion for dance in every child that will last forever. With two spacious, fully equipped air-conditioned studios in Manoora and Manunda in Cairns - North Queensland, we offer an exciting range of dance styles including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap and musical theatre.
