Forward was founded in 2004. We create, acquire and invest in web businesses across a variety of industries and territories. Our portfolio of over 20 companies is spread across 2 investment vehicles: • Forward Private Equity: Acquires great brands and helps management to accelerate growth. Companies include uSwitch (the UK’s leading energy, broadband and mobile phone comparison site), Factory Media (Europe’s largest and most innovative action sports media owner) and Forward3D (The fastest growing digital agency in the UK). • Forward Partners: We partner with great entrepreneurs, providing investment and operational support. Portfolio companies include Hailo (the black cab app), Zopa (the UK's leading peer-to-peer lending service) and Somo (the largest full-service mobile solutions company in the world).
