FLexercise - Flexible, Friendly, Fitness. Founded in 1930, probably the earliest group exercise classes to be offered in the UK, still giving both teachers and participants a rewarding experience. FLexercise teacher training via our apprentice system is about delivering fitness sessions for any age and works particularly well with active older adults and those who are new to exercise. The course builds personal confidence to motivate and educate class participants so that they come back week after week. FLexercise offers a rewarding career with the support of a national organisation, friendly colleagues and CPD opportunities. The all round fitness formula improves everyday flexibility and strength with posture and core control at the centre of classes. Originally based on the seven key principles of the Bagot Stack system, classes are a fun but functional workout – giving greater flexibility and strength to major muscle groups in an aerobic workout with a focus on correct body alignment. FLexercise is a progressive exercise system, meaning anyone can join at any time and it is suitable for all abilities.
