At DRIVE509 Truck Driving School, we provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to help them become safe, responsible, and confident commercial drivers. DRIVE509 CDL training strives to promote in each of our students the attitudes associated with a safe, successful, life-long truck driving career. DRIVE509 trains above and beyond industry standards because we know your career depends on it. You will leave knowing you made the right choice coming to DRIVE509. You will be driving on your third day of class to maximize your drive time. DRIVE509 provides a pre-employment drive test brush up. Before any company can hire a CDL driver the company is required to give the perspective employee a drive test. DRIVE509 provides all graduates with a free pre-employment brush up drive to make sure you're not rusty and take the edge off the interview. When local employers call looking for drivers, graduates will have access to new employment opportunities at any point in their career. With the largest training fleet in Eastern WA, you will receive training in a variety of trucks which provides a more diverse training. You will leave our training driving with confidence. You will learn to throw chains every week, because learning them on the side of the road in 5-degree weather is not where you want to learn how to install them. DRIVE509 will train you how to couple and uncouple a tractor trailer set, slide a fifth wheel, and move tandems for weight distribution on trailers. We have flexible schedules to meet anyone’s needs.
