It is also the largest franchisee for the Domino's Pizza brand in the world. Domino's holds the exclusive master franchise rights for the Domino's brand and network in Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Luxembourg, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia. The Domino's brand is owned by Domino's Pizza, Inc, a listed US company. Domino's Pizza Enterprises now extend across 12 markets, with more than 3,800 stores and is the leading international Domino's franchisee.

When our doors opened for the first time in 2004 it was because we wanted to challenge the belief that burgers were bad. We were the David to the Goliath’s of the burger world, and we were fighting them with burgers that were both guilt-free and delicious. Today we're proud to plate up healthy burgers made with love. It’s what makes our burgers the solution to fast food and not another alternative. We work with local farmers and artisans to secure the freshest ingredients and we're proud to serve RSPCA Approved chicken and free-range beef, lamb and eggs. How we did it back then is how we still do it today, the Grill’d way, and what continues to make our burgers so special is not only the ingredients. It’s our people. The Grill’d team. They are the heart and soul of Grill’d. Without them, there is no us. The reason we get up every morning and put on our bandanas is not just to cook delicious healthy burgers. It's to open our doors to our guests - the extended Grill'd family - and create a positive environment that offers inclusivity, mateship, and community. We stand alone in serving up our signature healthy burgers, but the true secret recipe is our people. Shh, don’t tell anyone.

We found the name Vapiano within an old Italian proverb ‘Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano’ which means, ‘If you have an easy-going and relaxed approach to life, you live more healthily and longer’. That’s been the Vapiano way of life since the first restaurant opened on 22nd October 2002 in Hamburg, Germany. Two years later, the owners decided to take Vapiano on a world tour and today there are over 150 restaurants in 29 countries on 5 continents – the world just loves Italian food! Here in Australia, our founder Will first saw Vapiano when he worked in Sweden and loved it so much he decided to bring this great global concept to Aussie shores. We’ve grown to 10 venues across Australia, beginning in Brisbane and expanding to Surfers Paradise, Melbourne and Sydney. We pride ourselves on simple food delivered with love. Homemade delicious Italian dishes of pasta, pizza and salads freshly cooked in an open kitchen.
