Creative Action Information

Creative Action is a Central Texas nonprofit that uses the power of the arts to build community and foster Creative Artists, Critical Thinkers, Confident Leaders and Courageous Allies. Through arts-based education, youth development programs, and community experiences, we help young people develop essential life skills, express themselves, and build meaningful connections. Our professional Teaching Artists bring creativity into schools, after-school programs, camps, and community spaces throughout Central Texas. Our work spans social-emotional learning, teen leadership, public art, and opportunities for emerging artists. Our programs deliver measurable impact, including an average 22% growth in social-emotional competencies among students participating in our After School programs. Our vision is a creative and vibrant Central Texas where all people grow in connection, purpose, and possibility. We believe creating that future takes a community. Through partnerships with schools, businesses, foundations, individual donors, and other nonprofit organizations, we expand access to meaningful creative experiences. **Create Art.
