Consortium for Community Development Information

The Consortium for Community Development is a 501(c) 3 community-based organization created to provide a whole-system approach to dramatically intervene into the issues and causes of chronic generational poverty and to drive a transformation in the quality of life in the greater Benton Harbor area. It's members include the Benton Harbor residents, business, government and community leaders all united behind the Benton Harbor Transformation Strategy. We are a catalyst for the transformation of the greater Benton Harbor area ensuring a responsive, effective, efficient, and sustainable local government and public school system with a community of engaged and self sufficient indigenous residents. We do this through individual and community capacity building, developing indigenous leaders of integrity who stand in truth and honesty; supporting informed and engaged residents who are successfully creating a better way forward for themselves, their children, and their community.
