Consolite Technology is a long-established UK specialist in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and night vision lighting technology for military and defence applications. With a strong heritage in NVG-compatible lighting, our expertise has grown to cover a wide range of specialist lighting requirements, with a particular focus on LED lighting systems for naval and warship applications. Our capabilities encompass complete general warship lighting systems, covering LED dual mode lighting, with full EMC compliance, and ATEX requirements. We also have a strong capability in innovative LiFi solutions for secure communication on military platforms. Consolite also provides specialist NVG-compatible lighting products for military aerospace platforms, including cockpit display filters, LED indicator lights, instrument conversion kits, illuminated control assemblies and cockpit floodlights. This is supported by in-house design, prototyping and testing capabilities, where our solutions are developed to meet the demanding requirements of modern aircraft operations. In July 2026, Consolite Technology was acquired by Glamox, and now combines its established UK defence expertise with the wider technology, experience and global reach of an international lighting group. This enables us to continue developing innovative, high-performance lighting solutions for some of the most demanding defence environments. Our recent contracts include the provision of lighting systems for the UK Type 31 frigate programme, demonstrating our experience in delivering complex and mission-critical lighting solutions for modern naval platforms.
