Meridiana Information

Meridiana Maintenance was founded on March 1st, 2010 from the union of the maintenance activities of the airlines Meridiana and Eurofly. The company has as such achieved a high level of competencies and a strong commitment to safe aircraft maintenance resulting from over four decades in the field. Meridiana Maintenance, in the mid-1990s still as part of Meridiana Airlines' maintenance branch, was the first company in Italy and among the first in Europe to be certified JAR 145, then converted to EASA PART 145 Maintenance Organisation approval. Our historic core competencies in MD80 series laid the foundations from which we extended our capabilities to B717 - the first in Europe - and, at the beginning of the new millennium, to the A320 family. The launch of Meridiana Maintenance provided the company with a bridge to the future and to opening up to the market of supporting narrow body fleets operating mainly in the EMEA region.
