Connellan Airways Trust Information

The Connellan Airways Trust is a non-profit organisation working to improve the lives of people living and working in the outback (isolated, remote and rural places) across Australia. Established by E.J Connellan (NT pioneer aviator, among many other endeavours) and the Connellan Airlines shareholders in 1981, Connellan Airways Trust offers a range of grant opportunities from general grants to major awards and scholarships for outback people. Each program has its own focus areas and objectives; however, the overarching mission of the Trust is to fund projects for individuals and organisations that advance education and health outcomes. We also encourage passion and innovation projects that embody the pioneering spirit of our founder E.J Connellan. We reduce the negative impact of isolation and distance and enable people to pursue their goals, irrespective of their location. The Trust relies on donations to augment the Trust funds and maximise grant-making.
